Breaking the Cycle of Family Violence

With offices in Lucas, Wood and Ottawa counties, Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center serves over 20,000 individuals each year. Our mission is to intervene and educate to reduce family violence. We do this through innovative, accessible services, education and community collaboration. Our services include:

  • Home and school-based child abuse prevention programs
  • Home and school-based domestic violence prevention and intervention programs
  • The Children’s Advocacy Center
  • Court-based advocacy for victims of domestic violence
  • Professional and community awareness training
  • Facilitation and support of local abuse prevention coalitions
